I am honored to serve my third term as your Young People’s Conference President. God has certainly been faithful, gracious, and merciful to us. It is my prayer and expectation that God will meet us at this year’s conference. I pray that each attendee will experience the transformative power of the Holy Ghost, and in turn tell the world of the goodness of our God.
We are living in a time like no other. With a worldwide pandemic, flares of racial inequality and injustice, and significant financial strains, many of us feel pressed at every side. We, even now can take confidence in knowing that God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. In acknowledging the consistency of our Savior, we must also take inventory of ourselves. We must assess our commitment to His Word and our call. Our commitment is critical in perilous times like these. As the hands and feet of Christ in the earth, we must witness to a hopeless and dejected world, and testify of the goodness of God even in lean seasons. Our theme for this year’s conference is “Whatever It Takes, I’m All In.” The Gospel according to Luke chapter 10 verse 27 states, “and he answered, and said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all of thy soul, and with all of thy strength, and with all of thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.” God is requiring for the body of Christ to be fully committed in every area of our walk with Him, so that the fruit of our walk would be shown through the love and care we have for our neighbor.
I believe that during this conference our Young People are going to be equipped to change the culture and reach the unsaved through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We encourage you, if you have not made the decision to be all in for Christ, make that decision today.
